Ingredients for Vegetables Kurma: Any Vegetables-2Cup (Chopped) Green Peas-1/4 Cup (Soaked 8 hours) Green Chilly-1 Coriander Leaves-2 Bunch Garlic-2 Flakes Chilly powder-2tsp Turmeric Powder-1/2tsp Small onion-10 Tomato-2 Ginger-1 Piece Ingredients for Grinding: Coconut-3 Pieces Poppy Seed-1tsp Ingredients for Seasoning: Cumin Seed-1/2tsp Cashew Nuts-5 Bay Leaf-1 Oil-2tsp Procedure to make Vegetable Kurma: 1.Fry poppy seed in low flame and soak in hot water. Grind ginger and garlic. Heat oil in a pan, add seasoning ingredients and sauté well. Then add onion, ginger garlic paste, tomato and vegetables one by one and fry well. 2.Add the soaked green peas and boil well. Then add chilly powder, turmeric powder, salt and pour water to cover the vegetables and allow cooking well. When vegetables cooked well, add poppy seed, grinded coconut and let the gravy to comes thick consistency. After cooked well, pour lemon juice and garnish with coriander leaves, then remove from fire. |
